THE AUTHOR WHO INFLUENCED ME THE MOST

Sherlock Holmes is my most favourite story character. He is a world-famous detective created by the legendary writer Arthur Conan Doyle. Sherlock Holmes is known for his extraordinary intelligence, sharp observation skills, and logical thinking. I admire him very much, and I truly enjoy reading his detective stories. I am very interested in his mystery and detective tales, and they are my favourite type of stories.

Sherlock Holmes is a private detective who solves difficult and mysterious cases using his brilliant mind. He carefully observes small details that normal people usually ignore. From simple clues like footprints, handwriting, or behaviour, he can discover the truth behind complicated mysteries. His method of solving crimes is based on logic, reasoning, and scientific thinking, not on guesses. This makes him a very intelligent and inspiring character.

 

 Another important character in these stories is Dr. Watson, who is Sherlock Holmes’s close friend and assistant. Dr. Watson records Holmes’s adventures and helps him during investigations. Their friendship adds warmth and humanity to the stories and makes them more interesting to read.

I love Sherlock Holmes stories because they are full of suspense, mystery, and excitement. Every story keeps the reader curious until the very end. While reading these stories, I feel like I am also part of the investigation. They help improve my thinking ability and teach me to be more observant and patient. Reading his detective stories has increased my love for mystery books and reading in general.


Some of the most popular detective books and stories of Sherlock Holmes are A Study in Scarlet, The Sign of the Four, The Hound of the Baskervilles, and The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes. These books are loved by readers all over the world and have been translated into many languages, including Sinhala.

I personally enjoy reading Sherlock Holmes detective books because they are clever, thrilling, and meaningful. They entertain the reader while also teaching important lessons about intelligence, discipline, and problem-solving. Sherlock Holmes is not just a detective but also a role model who shows the importance of careful thinking and dedication.


Sherlock Holmes is my favourite story character, and his detective stories are my most loved books. I have a great interest in his mystery stories, and I enjoy reading them again and again. Sherlock Holmes will always remain my favourite detective character, and his stories will always have a special place in my heart.

               My birthday is September 17th of 2004. My favourite day of the year is September 17th. I accept everything I receive on that day with happy. For my birthday ; birthday wishes, gifts, love from everyone, and endless fun.                My 21st birthday was on September 17, 2025. I have never seen a man who can compare to my father.He is a brave, loving, law-abiding, honest, and beautiful-hearted person. My father is a prison officer by profession.
